The Mission of the

Herrin Area Historical Society

shall be to foster
awareness, promote research, preserve landmarks, and provide
understanding of Herrin's history.

       The Herrin Area Historical Society (HAHS) meets monthly.  Programs are presented to highlight topics of historical significance from Herrin and Southern Illinois.  Meetings are usually held in the conference room at the Herrin City Library.  The HAHS supports the Herrin Coal Miner's Memorial and the Stotlar-Herrin Cemetery. 

 

2014 Annual dues or $25 individual & $35 a couple.
